Saving Waterfowl One Pond at a Time

Ferruginous White-eye Drake
At the center we keep in excess of 300 breeding birds. As a result of keeping a large number of birds, projects are ongoing. If you like animals, especially ducks, geese and swans, and have a little spare time we would love to have you as a volunteer!

Volunteers:
Some of the types of projects we frequently need volunteers for include: aviary construction, feeding birds, caring for ducklings etc.

Although we do not offer monetary compensation, you will have the opportunity to become an expert in waterfowl identification, management, ecology, and captive breeding. High school students and college students, especially those studying biology, will find these real-life application of biological concepts especially stimulating and extremely valuable!
